The Arco Lamp is one of the most popular floor lamps ever made. Inspired by the street lamps in Italy, Achille Castiglioni developed this modern classic in 1962, combining the advantages of a floor and a hanging lamp. This way the elegant piece provides direct illumination without the need to fix it to the ceiling, courtesy of its eight-foot long arm. Its functionality and timeless style create a focal point in any interior.
As a work of art, Castiglioni’s Arco Lamp is part of the permanent exhibition at the New York Museum of Modern Art.
Poly & Bark produces the base of the Arco Lamp in a quality, hand-carved marble block, available in two colors and the fixture is held by a sturdy arched carbon steel shaft.

Great for the money
The lamp arrived well, very heavy to carry around and very close to the original design.
Beautiful lamp. Base extremely heavy and solid marble. Just the marble alone used for this lamp is worth the price. Great replica of the original. One minor thing, the shade on the lamp is not held in place with anything so moves around if you don't arch the pole of the lamp right . But overall very satisfied with my purchase!
Arco Style SoHo Lamp
Great piece - classic. A little hard to get the right height.
We LOVE our new lamp! Once we found the right position for it, it completed our space. Very well made, easy to put together, high quality material. *The only thing was that the delivery man left it on the sidewalk at the bottom of the stairs to our home - the marble base is extremely heavy and took my husband and a friend to get it into the house!
