You don’t have to be an artist to know that a minimalist design and perfect ergonomic shape combine to make the Replica Eames Style Molded Plastic Eiffel Armchair (DAR) a triumph of contemporary style. In a year that birthed Samuel L. Jackson, Olivia Newton-John and Steven Tyler, this chair is still the most stylish and best looking of the bunch.
Immediately recognizable for its polished chrome steel Eiffel tower frame, the original DAR Armchair was one of the first plastic chairs to be mass produced. Its popularity is well deserved, with a strong yet flexible polypropylene seat, perfectly contoured for maximum comfort. The profile is striking, combining bright colors with a silver frame to create a look that is classic yet contemporary in any setting. Almost 60 years on, our replica continues to provide the same example of functionality and form.
This classic design is part of a celebrated family of dining chairs which includes the Dining height Side Chair Rod base (DSR), Dining height Side Wooden base (DSW) and Dining Height Armchair Wooden base (DAW) all available as replicas true to original specifications and manufacturing standards by Poly+Bark.

These chairs arrived at our house exactly when they were promised, and they were packed well. They were super easy to put together (about 10 minutes total for both), they're sturdy, comfortable, and they look great. We're very happy!
My new blue chairs are fantastic!
My chairs are the perfect true blue and not aqua as I had dreaded . They arrived well crated by UPS and I immediately cornered one of the condo garage men to put them together. It took him about 20 minutes to set all the screws on the two chairs. Since I have several original eames chairs around, no one would even consider these were copies. My daughter who is an architect asked me about the website so she could tell her clients. Wish I had room for more. Good job poly and bark!
