I don't normally write reviews, but I like this chair so much, I thought, "You know what? I should go write a review" -- so here I am. The chair looks great. It's comfortable, sturdy, and rolls very smoothly. And I think the thing I love most is how easy it was to assemble. I was still in a good mood after putting it together -- and that says a lot. The instructions are clear, everything is provided, and it's only a few steps. A different office chair I bought from a big box store was exactly the opposite -- a million pieces, sketchy directions -- and I hated everything and everybody by the time I got the thing finally put together. Thanks for making this easy. And it's a great price point. I'm a fan!
While the chair has some merits, I have to be honest and rate it low based on the incorrect description that it is "comfortable" and has a "high, supportive back." Neither of these are true. The chair is easy to assemble, is sturdy, attractive, and inexpensive. My home office is in my living room, and I didn't want something with a large profile, or flashy chrome base. It's the comfort where the product suffers. The seat quickly becomes uncomfortable after about an hour. The back doesn't provide any support or decent posture due to the obtuse angle, and the padding on the seat is quite thin making my sit bones ache quite quickly. Right now I'm sitting on an added thermarest inflatable travel cushion which makes it tolerable, but is not an effective long-term solution. If you plan to sit in this chair for an hour or so, then go for it, but if you need something to sit in all day long, I suggest you find another chair.
