A retro table with personality
Most dining tables are very plain and heavy-looking, with thick boxy legs and square tabletops. The Malain, however, is the opposite. The rounded, angled legs make it seem like the table is lightly perched in your dining room, rather than anchored there. And the gently curved tabletop perfects its mid-century modern style. Shipping was quick. The table was carefully flat-packed with no damage. Assembly was clear and simple; I was able to do it without help (although turning it over after attaching the legs would have been much easier with two people). A couple of threaded screw inserts in the underside of the table were slightly off, making it a little difficult to tighten one of the legs. But, this was a minor issue and the table is sturdy regardless. This table is the perfect size for my apartment living/dining room. I bought this table along with a set of four Vortex side chairs (walnut legs and yellow seats) and am very happy with how they look together. I highly recommend this table to anyone who likes clean, modern design but doesn't want their home to look like IKEA blah.
