EDIT: A rep from Poly & Bark reached out and took full responsibility of the situation and made promises happen. Although our experience was Bumpy it is obvious that this rep cared enough to follow through and ensure everything went smoothly. They cared that they had fell short of their own expectations let alone a customers. Gotta give credit where credit is due. Appreciate the help from the Poly & bark team and hope others see this and know they do have a team of people that want to stand behind their products.
I thought we were purchasing a moderately priced decent piece of furniture.. instead we purchased into a logistics nightmare with AM trucking. I cannot even review the furniture because they cannot line up a delivery. Multiple calls and emails back and fourth, 24-48 hours notice with a multi hour delivery window that's impossible to accommodate unless you don't work. When further contacted they said they could make accommodations to deliver after 4pm... not once but twice! and then further contacted us to notify they could not make good on their arrangement and instead we could drive to another state to pick it up ourselves. poly & Bark customer service has been terrible to deal with and passes it off as not their issue. Currently waiting for a FULL refund so I can go somewhere else and find a sofa worth purchasing.
I ordered ten chairs and a dining table from this site. My four stars is basically for the chairs and the customer service. The chairs are great and we really enjoy them. Unfortunately when we received the table it was damaged. Customer service was great about responding to my message addressing the damage and they sent us a replacement table. When we received the second table, we noticed similar damage to the first table, so my recommendation would be to order a Poly&Bark table without a leaf for a quality product.
We purchased our Poly & Bark Calle left facing sofa/chaise a few months ago. We were a bit leery about making such a big purchase sight unseen but couldn't find anything else we liked at any local furniture stores. Didn't want to post a review until it had been used a bit so that our observations would be useful for potential buyers. To say we are in love with the sofa would be an understatement! The leather is beautiful and very durable. I have 2 young grandchildren who have really put it to the test! It's very comfortable and has not lost any loft in the seating or the back pillows. I do occasionally fluff the pillows (after my dog has knocked them down and slept on top of them) and they still look amazing. I also love that our Roomba is able to glide underneath and keep the accent rug clean. I did want to mention shipping/delivery and product packaging. Our sofa was delivered by a 3rd party shipping company and they were awesome with communication and actual delivery. The sofa came in a single huge box and was packed so well. The inside walls of the box had hard boards that prevented any damage during shipping. I really feel like Poly & Bark has made it possible to find a well made sofa at a great price. I would definitely recommend any of their furniture and plan on buying one of their beds in the near future.
Mostly an easy ordering experience, but they trick you some with deals that you can't apply (for instance you can build up points but can't apply them at the same time as discounts). Also I ordered a chair that said it was in stock only to receive a message the next day that it was backordered and had to wait a month instead of a week to receive it.
I purchased the NAPA sleeper & boy, I am thrilled. It is honestly the best sofa I have ever owned. I was extremely leery about purchasing from a new-to-me online furniture company, so much so, that I screenshot about every step of the purchase 10 times (not kidding) just in case I needed to deal with my cc company. MUCH to my surprise and gratitude, I received great communication, a prompt delivery (unit was coming from the west coast and it took about 3 weeks to come out east) and more importantly than anything... an "omg it is stunning", sofa! We pulled out the bed to see how bad that pull out would be for guests, both my hubby and I laid down and there was just silence... like we were waiting for that bar to magically start hurting our backs or something, then about a minute in, we turn to look at each other (yes, both of us still laying there) and we said in unison... we could totally sleep on this!!! Talk about a win! Something that I didn't notice when I bought it but I honestly think its why the sofa is so dang comfortable, it has one seat cushion across the entire seat, no gaps in between cushions. The sofa is now where my hubby moves to the moment he wants to relax (aka fall asleep watching some football), which says a ton because he has his favorite recliner, the sofa has replaced that!!!
I ended up buying two more sofas from them for the big living room and I purchased different ones because of the decor in that room, and I don't love them as much as I love this one. They look and are made GORGEOUS too, but nothing beats the Napa for comfort, omg seriously give it a try!
I do not typically write reviews but purchasing furniture from Poly and Bark has been a uniquely positive and refreshing experience in a world that mostly disappoints. We purchased multiple pieces. Big and small. Everything came packaged securely, with all the parts, and the assembly was easy. Most of all, the pieces were of tremendous quality and were as beautiful or more so than the online images. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
Beyond impressed the customer service and honesty of this company. I had an issue with the couch I ordered. They immediately exchanged it for a new one. I plan on purchasing furniture from them in the future and have been sharing my positive experience with friends and family.
