They say if you can’t find what you’re looking for you should create it. At first we did this on a super small scale, creating pieces to deck out our own apartment. Before we knew it, our friends were asking us to do the same for them. And their friends. And their neighbors. And their offices.
Poly & Bark was born out of necessity on a newly-rented apartment floor, over a box of pizza. When decorating our new space we found it difficult to find a manufacturer who’s affordability matched the level quality and design we were looking for. We found ourselves wedged into a choice of purchasing furniture at a high-cost and mediocre quality or buying low-cost with weak durability.
Poly & Bark was started with a simple idea: We want everyone to have access to quality, stylish furniture and decor at a price they can afford.

Living in a world where we could purchase the furniture style we wanted when we needed it, instead of waiting for the next big Labor Day sale.
So, we created Poly & Bark by circumventing the traditional brick and mortar furniture store and taking everything online, slimming down our staff and giving free shipping (yes, always). So our consumers could get their dream interiors at lower and more affordable prices every day.
